Hey Y’all!

I am a 27 year old, sorta kinda newlywed, with a BOLD personality, but what can I say, I get it from my momma. I have a bad habit of baking late at night, especially when I’m hanging out with my sister for the weekend. I live for a good Cabernet Sauvignon and I have a borderline obsession with Jessie James Decker.

I have a degree in Communication Studies, which has given me valuable insight into interpersonal relationships, and I love E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G about the journey of meeting new people, maintaining relationships, and gaining a better understanding of how we interact with others. I know, I’m kind of nerdy, but my man loves it.

Speaking of my man, I met my husband after I graduated college and landed my first job in Houston, TX. I pretty much hated this city at first, and had planned to only work one year at my first job then head to Austin, but once I got my foot in the door in the Special Events Industry, found a Church home, and made some friends, I decided to stay. A little over two years in HOU, I found my soulmate, and my life has changed for the better. Justin and I currently reside in the Heights and we love to find new brunch hot spots and spend time on the hike and bike trails.

If you are an avid bike rider like I am, you will likely find me cruising down the bike trails, because biking is like therapy to me, only free. If I’m not hitting the trails, you’ll probably find me riding in spin class, grabbing a bite with all of my sista friends, venturing out in the city, or my favorite, cuddled up on the couch watching Netflix.

My hope is that, as you follow along with Bold and Brave Life, your life will transpire into incredibly positive days and kick ass years. I want you grow a love for Jesus, yourself, and those around you. I want you to gain a confidence that you’ve never had before. I hope you see me as your big sister and you learn from my mistakes. When all is said and done, this blog is all about helping you become your best self. I promise I will always keep it real and relatable with you by sharing my very candid stories that are always intertwined with motivation and inspiration.

Thanks for joining this crazy ride with me. I promise you won’t regret it!

Cheers,

Hayley
